When Surrender May Be Necessary
At Cross Our Paws Rescue, we understand that life circumstances can change unexpectantly. Whether due to housing changes, financial challenges, health concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, some owners may no longer be able to provide the care their pet needs. We handle every surrender request with compassion, respect, and a commitment to doing what is best for the animal.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a physical facility to house animals. Because of this, all surrender requests require review and cannot be guaranteed. Our support depends on the availability of appropriate foster homes, as well as the resources required to support any medical or behavioral needs the animal may have.
Our goal is always to help when we can, and to ensure every animal has the opportunity to be safe.
